SBU จับมือ ITIM ยกระดับบัณฑิตสายท่องเที่ยวสู่สากล มุ่งสร้างอาชีพที่มั่นคงและยั่งยืน

เมื่อวันที่ 12 พฤษภาคม 2569 ที่ผ่านมา ณ ห้องประชุมเสลา 1 มหาวิทยาลัยเซาธ์อีสท์บางกอก (SBU) ได้มีพิธีลงนามความร่วมมือ (MOU) ครั้งสำคัญระหว่าง SBU โดย ดร.สมศักดิ์ รุ่งเรือง อธิการบดี และ สถาบัน ITIM โดย คุณธนวัง ศรีนันทพันธ์ CEO เพื่อร่วมกันปั้นบัณฑิตรุ่นใหม่ให้พร้อมลุยตลาดงานบริการระดับโลก

ความร่วมมือในครั้งนี้ไม่ใช่แค่เรื่องของวิชาการในกระดาษ แต่เป็นการเปิดประตูโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้สัมผัสประสบการณ์จริงผ่านทางลัดอย่าง Pathway Program หรือการเทียบโอนหน่วยกิตที่คล่องตัวขึ้น รวมถึงโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนที่จะช่วยฝึกความเก๋าในการทำงานข้ามวัฒนธรรม ซึ่ง ผศ. ดร.ตรีวิทย์ อัศวศิริศิลป์ คณบดีคณะศิลปศาสตร์ มองว่าเป็นอาวุธสำคัญที่จะช่วยให้เด็กไทยปรับตัวเข้ากับอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวที่เปลี่ยนแปลงตลอดเวลาได้แบบมือโปร

ความร่วมมือนี้ตั้งใจสะท้อนแนวทางการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน หรือ SDGs ออกมาให้เห็นภาพชัดเจน โดยเฉพาะการมุ่งเน้นไปที่การสร้าง การศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพ (SDG 4) ที่ไม่ได้หยุดแค่ทฤษฎี แต่เป็นการเชื่อมโยงความรู้สู่การทำงานจริง เพื่อให้บัณฑิตมีทักษะภาษาและวิชาชีพที่แข็งแกร่งพอที่จะสร้าง งานที่มั่นคงและช่วยขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจ (SDG 8) ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

ดร.สมศักดิ์ รุ่งเรือง ได้กล่าวทิ้งท้ายไว้อย่างน่าสนใจว่า นี่คือจิ๊กซอว์ชิ้นสำคัญที่จะช่วยผลักดันให้นักศึกษา SBU ไม่ใช่แค่เรียนจบไปทำงานได้ แต่ต้องเติบโตได้อย่างสง่างามและมีความมั่นคงในอาชีพบนเวทีสากล ซึ่งท้ายที่สุดแล้ว บัณฑิตที่มีคุณภาพเหล่านี้จะเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวให้เติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป
SBU Partners with ITIM to Elevate Tourism Graduates to International Standards, Aiming for Stable and Sustainable Careers

On May 12, 2026, at the Sela 1 Meeting Room, Southeast Bangkok University (SBU) held a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between SBU, represented by Dr. Somsak Rungruang, President, and the ITIM Institute, represented by Mr. Thanawang Srinanthapan, CEO. This collaboration aims to mold a new generation of graduates ready to enter the global hospitality and service market.

This partnership extends beyond mere academic theory; it opens doors for students to gain real-world experience through streamlined Pathway Programs and credit transfers. Additionally, exchange programs will be implemented to enhance cross-cultural professional skills. Asst. Prof. Dr. Treewit Assawasirisilp, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, views these initiatives as essential tools that will enable Thai students to adapt to the constantly evolving tourism industry like seasoned professionals.

The collaboration explicitly reflects a commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly focusing on Quality Education (SDG 4). By bridging the gap between classroom theory and practical application, the program ensures students possess the robust language and professional skills necessary to secure Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8) effectively.

Dr. Somsak Rungruang concluded with an insightful remark, stating that this partnership is a crucial piece of the puzzle that will empower SBU students not only to find employment upon graduation but to thrive with dignity and career stability on the international stage. Ultimately, these high-quality graduates will become a driving force in the sustainable development of the tourism industry.
