Southeast Bangkok University & Global Youth SDG Forum 2026 — Where Youth Ideas Became Real Solutions at the United Nations
Last week, Southeast Bangkok University had the special honour of co-hosting the 2026 Global Youth SDG Forum with Global SDGs Alliance, welcoming over 100 youth delegates from 30 countries to Bangkok to create meaningful change for our world together.
Over four incredible days, participants didn’t just attend workshops — they stepped into the real community of Bang Namphueng, Phra Pradaeng, Samut Prakan, to listen, learn, and truly understand one of Thailand’s most iconic green communities. Everything they experienced was then shaped into concrete solutions, presented live on the stage of UN ESCAP on the final day.
The standout proposals from the youth idea forum centred on harnessing AI and digital technology for smarter environmental management and natural resource conservation unlocking greater value for sustainable community-based tourism. Delegates also called on all sectors communities, businesses, and government — to come together in building shared sustainability knowledge, because strong communities are built through collaboration, not in isolation.

SBU ร่วมเขียนประวัติศาสตร์ความยั่งยืนบนเวที UN กรุงเทพฯ
เมื่อสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา มหาวิทยาลัยเซาธ์อีสท์บางกอกได้มีโอกาสพิเศษในการเป็นเจ้าภาพร่วมกับ Global SDGs Alliance จัดงาน 2026 Global Youth SDG Forum ต้อนรับเยาวชนกว่า 100 คน จาก 30 ประเทศทั่วโลก มาร่วมกันสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่แท้จริงให้กับโลกของเรา
ตลอด 4 วัน เยาวชนที่เข้าร่วมโครงการมีโอกาสลงพื้นที่จริงที่ ชุมชนบางน้ำผึ้ง อ.พระประแดง จ.สมุทรปราการ เพื่อเรียนรู้ ฟัง และเข้าใจชุมชนสีเขียวต้นแบบของไทย ก่อนนำทุกสิ่งที่ได้มาออกแบบเป็นโซลูชันจริง และนำเสนอบนเวที UN ESCAP ในวันสุดท้าย ซึ่งเป็นเสียงสะท้อนจากผู้เขาร่วมโครงการต่อชุมชนพร้อมข้อเสนอที่โดดเด่นที่สุดจากเวทีระดมไอเดียครั้งนี้คือการนำ AI และเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล มาช่วยบริหารจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมและทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ เพื่อเพิ่มคุณค่าการท่องเที่ยวเชิงชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืน พร้อมเสนอให้ทุกภาคส่วน — ชุมชน ธุรกิจ และภาครัฐ — ร่วมสร้างองค์ความรู้ด้านความยั่งยืนไปพร้อมกัน เพราะชุมชนเข้มแข็งต้องเกิดจากความร่วมมือ ไม่ใช่การทำงานคนเดียว
นายสำเนาว์ รัศมิทัต นายก อบต.บางน้ำผึ้ง “ชุมชนบางน้ำผึ้งภูมิใจที่ได้เปิดประตูต้อนรับเยาวชนจากทั่วโลก เราพร้อมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการสร้างความยั่งยืนนี้ต่อไป และพร้อมเป็นพื้นที่การเรียนรู้การท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืนและรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม”
ด้าน Mr. Jay Wei — Lead of Steering Committee, Global SDGs Alliance “เอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้คือหัวใจสำคัญของการขับเคลื่อน SDGs ที่นำโดยเยาวชน ความร่วมมือที่เกิดขึ้นในสัปดาห์นี้คือรากฐานของการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่จะขยายออกไปสู่ทุกมุมโลกต่อไป”
ดร.สมศักดิ์ รุ่งเรือง อธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยเซาธ์อีสท์บางกอก “SBU เราให้ความเท่าเทียมด้านการศึกษา เยาวชนได้รับโอกาสที่เหมาะสมตามความสามารถและความสนใจ สามารถสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่แท้จริงให้กับโลกได้ และ SBU ตั้งใจจะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการของ SDGs และผลักดันเป็นศูนย์ SGDs Center ในโอกาสต่อไป” และในฐานะมหาวิทยาลัยที่เชื่อว่า การศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพต้องเข้าถึงได้สำหรับทุกคน SBU ภูมิใจนำเสนอหลักสูตร Dual-Degree ร่วมกับ University of Chichester เพื่อให้เยาวชนไทยและในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้มีโอกาสก้าวสู่เวทีโลกได้อย่างเท่าเทียม
