Chichester Bangkok Welcomes Its First Cohort of Dual-Degree (UK) Students, Hosting a Grand Orientation to Mark a Historic Milestone Toward Internationalization at SBU
Chichester Bangkok, a collaboration between Southeast Bangkok University (SBU) and the University of Chichester (UoC), officially hosted its Orientation Programme to welcome the first cohort of dual-degree students. This marks a historic milestone for the institution and reaffirms its mission as a British Education Partner of international standing.
The ceremony was warmly led by Dr. Somsak Rungruang, President, together with the Management Team, Lecturers, and the Student Support Team, who extended a heartfelt welcome to the new students. The atmosphere was filled with warmth through a Wai Kru Ceremony and a special musical performance blending Asian and international instruments to welcome the new students.
This orientation reflects the university’s educational philosophy of preparing a new generation of learners to step confidently onto the global stage, accompanied by the warm welcome message: “Welcome to Chichester Bangkok Family!”

Chichester Bangkok โดยความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยเซาธ์อีสท์แบงกอก (SBU) และ University of Chichester (UoC) ได้จัดพิธีปฐมนิเทศ (Orientation Programme) ต้อนรับนักศึกษาโครงการสองปริญญารุ่นแรกอย่างเป็นทางการ ถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญแห่งประวัติศาสตร์ของสถาบัน และตอกย้ำพันธกิจในการเป็นพันธมิตรการศึกษาระดับสากลจากสหราชอาณาจักร
บรรยากาศในพิธีเต็มไปด้วยความอบอุ่น โดยมี ดร.สมศักดิ์ รุ่งเรือง อธิการบดี พร้อมคณะผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ผู้สอน และทีมสนับสนุนนักศึกษา ให้การต้อนรับนักศึกษาใหม่ด้วยความอบอุ่น สร้างความประทับใจด้วยพิธีไหว้ครู และการแสดงดนตรีที่ผสมผสานระหว่างเครื่องดนตรีเอเชียและสากล เพื่อต้อนรับนักศึกษาใหม่โดยเฉพาะ
การจัดปฐมนิเทศครั้งนี้สะท้อนปรัชญาการศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยที่มุ่งนำผู้เรียนรุ่นใหม่ให้พร้อมก้าวสู่เวทีโลกอย่างมั่นใจ พร้อมข้อความต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นว่า **”Welcome to Chichester Bangkok Family!”
