มหาวิทยาลัยเซาธ์อีสท์บางกอก นำโดย ดร.สมศักดิ์ รุ่งเรือง อธิการบดี และคณะผู้บริหารในเครือสถาบันอวรรถวิทย์รุ่งเรือง ร่วมมือกับ บริษัทมหาจักร เอ็นเนอร์จี ดีเวลลอปเมนท์ จำกัด โดยนางสาวศุภสรา จงกลรัตนาภรณ์ กรรมการผู้จัดการ พร้อมทีมผู้บริหาร จับมือร่วมผลักดันการใช้พลังงานสะอาดด้วยการติดตั้งระบบผลิตไฟฟ้าจากพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ (Solar Rooftop) บนหลังคาของอาคารมหาวิทยาลัย โครงการนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการขับเคลื่อนมหาวิทยาลัยไปสู่ “มหาวิทยาลัยสีเขียว” สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนของสหประชาชาติ (SDGs)
การติดตั้ง Solar Rooftop จะเริ่มดำเนินการในเดือนมีนาคม 2568 คาดว่า sbu จะมีกำลังการผลิตไฟฟ้าประมาณ 294.65 กิโลวัตต์ต่อชั่วโมง สามารถผลิตไฟฟ้าได้ถึง 34,476 หน่วยต่อเดือน ช่วยผลักดันการใช้พลังงานจากแหล่งหมุนเวียน ส่งเสริมการประหยัดพลังงานภายในชุมชนการศึกษา สอดคล้องกับแนวคิด “มหาวิทยาลัยสีเขียว” ที่เน้นการใช้ทรัพยากรอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและลดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม โครงการนี้ไม่เพียงแต่ส่งผลดีต่อการประหยัดพลังงาน แต่ยังเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาและอาจารย์ในมหาวิทยาลัย และผู้ที่สนใจได้เข้าถึงการเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับเทคโนโลยีพลังงานสะอาด สามารถเป็นสถานที่ศึกษาและทำวิจัยเกี่ยวกับระบบพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ โดยการใช้โครงสร้างพื้นฐานของมหาวิทยาลัยเป็นแหล่งทดลองและแหล่งข้อมูล นอกจากนี้ ยังเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้กับนักศึกษาในด้านนวัตกรรมการพัฒนาและการใช้งานพลังงานสะอาดในสาขาต่างๆ
Southeast Bangkok University Partners with Mahajak Energy to Propel Green University Initiative through Solar Rooftop Project
Southeast Bangkok University (SBU), under the leadership of President Dr. Somsak Rungreung and the management team of the Avarnvith Rungreung Institute Group, has partnered with Mahajak Energy Development Co., Ltd., led by Managing Director Ms. Supasara Jongkolratnaporn, along with their executive team, to advance the use of clean energy. This collaboration includes the installation of a solar rooftop power generation system atop the university’s buildings, marking a significant step towards becoming a “Green University” and aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Solar Rooftop installation is set to begin in March 2025. SBU’s expected power generation capacity is approximately 294.65 kWh, with a potential output of up to 34,476 units per month. This project not only promotes renewable energy use and energy conservation within the university community but also aligns with the “Green University” concept, which emphasizes efficient resource utilization and minimized environmental impact.
Beyond energy savings, this initiative provides a valuable learning opportunity for students, faculty, and other interested individuals, fostering engagement with clean energy technologies. The university’s infrastructure will serve as a living laboratory for research and education in solar energy systems, inspiring students in innovation and the application of renewable energy across various fields.
