SBU Expands Educational Opportunities to Mandalay, Myanmar

Southeast Bangkok University (SBU) continues its mission to advance inclusive and global education by expanding its outreach to Mandalay, Myanmar, one of the country’s key educational and cultural centers.

Led by Dr. Patrada Rungruang, Vice President for Administration and Planning, together with the Marketing and Corporate Communications team, SBU conducted a series of visits and discussions with leading educational institutions in Mandalay. The initiative aimed to strengthen academic partnerships and introduce SBU’s flagship International Dual Degree Programme (2 Degrees in 3 Years), delivered in collaboration with University of Chichester.

Advancing SDGs Through Education

This initiative reflects SBU’s strong commitment to the Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, by creating accessible, affordable, and internationally recognized learning opportunities for students in Myanmar.

The engagement in Mandalay not only strengthens SBU’s presence in the Myanmar market but also reinforces its role as a regional education hub committed to empowering youth across ASEAN.

SBU aims to support Myanmar students in achieving their academic aspirations while fostering cross-cultural understanding and long-term educational collaboration between Thailand and Myanmar.
