SBU Empowers CLMV Students to Discover “Thainess” and Advance SDGs Through Cultural Immersion
Southeast Bangkok University (SBU) continues to position itself as a leading international education hub by empowering over 100 students from the CLMV region through immersive cultural learning experiences in Thailand.
Under the course “Contemporary Thai Society and Culture,” students explored Thai identity and multicultural coexistence at Museum Siam and Talad Noi. Through interactive exhibitions and community-based learning, students gained deeper insights into history, diversity, and the harmonious integration of cultures in Thai society.
Aligned with SBU’s SDC framework, the program promotes key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Quality Education (SDG 4), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (SDG 16) by fostering intercultural understanding, inclusivity, and global citizenship.
Through experiential learning beyond the classroom, SBU reaffirms its mission of developing culturally intelligent, socially responsible graduates—empowering modern professionals for a sustainable and interconnected world.
